Rules of Engagement

The Berkeley Heights Republican Municipal Committee (RMC) and the campaign of Manny & Gentiana are proud to support the following this campaign season.  We will put Berkeley Heights First and intend to:

  • Listen to all resident’s concerns.
  • Focus on the positive.
  • Concentrate on the facts.
  • Reject hate speech.
  • Report who is supporting our team financially.
  • Attend in-town events without making them a political advertising opportunity.  We will have a presence at the Street Fair/Block Party as we have in the past to share information with residents.
  • Allow residents “politics free” holiday events (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Halloween).
  • Abstain from utilizing school grounds and events for political advertising opportunities, unless it is a bi-partisan, politically sanctioned event.
  • Send a reasonable number of campaign mailers to avoid crowding your mailbox and recycle bins.
  • Place campaign signs out no more than 30 days prior to the June 4th primary election and remove within the following week.
  • Place campaign signs out no more than 45 days prior to the November 5th general election and remove within the following week.
  • Donate a percentage of every fundraising event to a local Berkeley Heights non-profit or volunteer organization dedicated to helping residents.

We will continue to put all residents of Berkeley Heights First!
